Erasmus+ Study Visit in Jyväskylä, Finland: All costs are covered: 5 days project: Apply
Five-day study visit to Finland on entrepreneurship education and girls. Arrival on Monday, departure on Friday. The study visit is organised in co-operation with Turkey and Sweden - therefore we can only accept Turkish and Swedish participants.
How to combine youth work and entrepreneurship education? How to find ways to support girls’ sense of initiative, active citizenship, employability or concrete business ideas? What does the gender sensitive approach mean in practice? Are girls’ needs different from boys’ needs? Do NGOs co-operate with the formal education providers? And is all formal education formal?
All these questions and many more will be answered during the short study visit “Girls who DO”.
The study visit is organized in central Finland, in the city of Jyväskylä and its surroundings. The region is known for its well-developed entrepreneurship education. During the study visit the local associations share their best methods and practice.
In addition there will be many possibilities for networking and partnership-building, the participants will experience Finnish countryside in the winter, meet young entrepreneurs, have a traditional pre-Christmas party… and maybe even see Santa Claus.
