PAID INTERNSHIP IN LONDON: PRINT PRODUCTION: Salary: 1900EUR/month

We have a wonderful new opportunity for an Intern, ideally a recent graduate or someone studying towards a Communications, Graphics or Print Production degree. This is a paid Internship within the Merchandise department of Tate Enterprises, with the specific remit to assist the Print Production Controller with particular Print projects.
Tate Enterprises Ltd. is the trading arm of Tate. Its chief areas of operation are retailing on four sites, publishing (both Tate exhibition catalogues and general art books, as well as illustrated children’s books), product development, picture library and licensing. Gross publishing turnover accounts for c£3.7m p/a and all our profits support the work and Collection of Tate.
The successful applicant will be a proficient Mac user and have had experience using design packages, including Quarkexpress, InDesign and Photoshop. You will need to demonstrate an excellent attention to detail and an ability to work with precision. You will also have a good eye for colour. We are looking for someone who is proactive, a positive team player and great communicator with colleagues and external contacts.
We hope to conduct interviews on 21st and 22nd October. Applicants will need to be available for the whole duration of the internship, anticipated to run from early November to the end of January 2015.
