Curtin University is offering PhD scholarship to undertake a research project within school of Psychology and Speech Pathology. The research project will include both qualitative and quantitative data collection stages. The results will be used to inform future food labelling regulatory changes in Australia and contribute to the limited international evidence base. Scholarship Description: New food labelling regulations are currently being introduced in Australia. Curtin has an ARC funded project which will investigate consumers’ reactions to varying combinations of front-of-pack food labels and health claims. The research project will include both qualitative and quantitative data collection stages. The results will be used to inform future food labelling regulatory changes in Australia and contribute to the limited international evidence base. An opportunity has become available for a PhD student to be involved in this exciting research. The appointed student will need strong writing and analytical skills. Previous academic qualifications could include health promotion, nutrition, and/or consumer behaviour. The successful candidate will work with an experienced team of researchers based at Curtin School of Psychology and Speech Pathology.
