PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS we want to have a structured schedule that allows to combine different activities and to provide space for reflection and self-study of volunteers, without losing sight of the foundation takes a very specific and particular job based on methodology of occupational therapy for users and improving the mental health of them and their families. WASTE MANAGEMENT AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY principal activity of the foundation, where users workers and volunteers working together with the direct supervision of the technicians responsible for the operation of the center works and implementation of occupational therapy , making tracking users and coordinating the volunteers . In this sense, will be able to access the records and plan joint actions for intervention and improvement of mental health of users of the foundation. 1.- ATELIER Trueta as a space dedicated to the repair , reuse and creation of all kinds of accessories , clothing and furniture for resale at affordable funding for the foundation prices. This project also includes a progressive adaptation of the workshop needs them workers of the Foundation. Here the volunteer may propose new actions and activities that promote the social and vocational integration and improve the mental health of these workers members of the foundation. 2.- YOUTH ON THE MOVE Manlleu i Vic (promotion of ERASMUS+ program as youth exchanges and European voluntary service) Here the volunteer main task is to promote the program ERASMUS+, CV Europass assesment, and increasing motivation of youngsters with fewer opportunities, in collaboration with the social services from our region. We planned to organise a youth exchange during november in the city of Manlleu with 30 youngsters from 6 diferent countries under ERASMUS+ program. 3.- LANGUAGE CAFES Sessions – non formal learning in English: the project want to increase the languages skills of the young people from our region, giving the opportunity to local youngsters to know another languages and cultures through seminars, meetings points, intercultural workshops and other activities promoting intercultural dialogue and also improving language skills in all the languages 4 - DO IT YOURSELF as a space for reflection, no formal education and creation of new activities. Procedure
TRANSPORTATION: Vic has urban public transport by buses that run through the main points of the city. Also have a direct connection with the city of Barcelona and Girona, by train and bus, as well as being located at a point. In any case, we have 4 bikes available for volunteers, as a method of promoting sustainable transport. From the city center to Trueta Foundation there is 10 minuts by bike. ACCOMMODATION: The host institution will provide an apartment in the historic center of the city with all the facilities. POCKET MONEY: each month or week, depend on the needs of the volunteer, you will be given pocket money proportion corresponding to each volunteer. In Spain is 105 €/month FOOD: the volunteer will have an amount of money allocated to be distributed proportionally the money. In this sense, the guardian is responsible for making recommendations to the volunteers so that they can make joint meals on the site where they will stay, plus take care of all the extra expenses that may arise during your stay (repairs floor displacements where no public transport travel for learning ...) to the extent that money allows. LANGUAGE LESSONS: first, the inclusion of learning through digital platforms as new Program guidelines ERASMUS believe + that can facilitate and promote the learning of the Spanish language among project participants. On the other hand, the CNL (Centre for Linguistic Normalization) take care of the Catalan classes for volunteers (NOT Spanish lessons).
