Length: 1 year renewable.
Report to: Project Director.

Job proposal: Consulting services related to the design and management of European projects (project search, partner research, project writing, search and analysis of calls and other financing, project management, project communication and capitalization, financial management, etc.). The job includes the management of the client portfolio of the company and the attraction of new clients (sale abilities). High skills for communication with clients essential and excellent skills of ICTs and social networks. High level of English and a second language (French, Portuguese, and Italian) are compulsory. 
Main responsibilities:

    • Identification of new financing opportunities and new calls for proposal.
    • Identification of new projects for the clients of LocalEurope and participation in the comprehensive or partial writing of projects by the company.
    • Management of EU approved projects: administrative and financial management, communication and capitalization, technical management, organization of meetings, relations with the partnership and Programme Authorities.
    • Management of the clients’ database and establishment of international communication channels for the creation and consolidation of international networks.
    • Management of the client portfolios and attraction of new clients.
    • Participation in the training courses on European matters. taught by the company
    What we expect from you:
    Essential:
    1. Provable experience of at least 3 years in the identification of new financing opportunities in the frame of different European Programmes and International/ EU bids.
    2. Provable experience in writing applications, especially in the fields of the innovation, entrepreneurship and energy.
    3. Provable experience in the comprehensive management of European projects: administrative, financial, communication, capitalization, technical, monitoring, reporting, etc.
    4. Excellent skills of communication and negotiation. Capacity to work under pressure.
    5. Fluent English and a second language (French, Portuguese, Italian).

    Desirable:
    1. Experience in the design of fundraising strategies.
    2. Experience in the preparation of training contents and the teaching of training courses on European matters.
    3. Stays abroad, experience in Community Institutions and/or other lobbies and/or consulting companies in Brussels, will be highly valued.
